                 Boxes into Totems

 Boxes that Stevia came in. Paper mâché 

To add strength. Sheet rock compound on sides. Set in cut pieces of styrofoam tray. Remove styrofoam pieces after slightly dry. Let dry completely. Prime with gesso or primer. Paint with acrylic paint.

Stack. Love!

Stamping with simple shapes

  Using simple figures cut from the side of a cereal box. We will use some of these techniques in my class on April 23rd at 5 Kirkland Ave in Clinton NY.

Ballarinas!!!!!

My ballarinas on waste board. We use 

A lot of canned cat food with 4 cats.

Each layer of cans has a lightweight

Piece of cardboard.

I primed the dividers , painted them 

Black and stenciled 

My ballarinas onto the black cardboard.

Then my colored ink pens to write and 

Draw.

RECYCLED ART CLASS Painting Papers - Making Newspapers into Art Papers

 Discover your inner artist.

I will be teaching a class for anyone interested in learning how to recycle newspapers into art papers.

 We will use everyday materials to paint primed newspapers into art papers.

These art papers can be used to collage, scrapbook and as works of art.

Have fun in a small class and learn to create art from everyday objects.

 

The only limits are your imagination.

 

 Creativity encouraged.

 

Relax and let the art flow.

 

Time: Saturday April 23rd from 1 to 4 PM.

All materials included. Optional: bring your own glue stick and x-acto knife.
