Butterfly Collage

Butterfly
I cut the butterfly shape out of primed, painted newspaper.
The painted newspaper had been painted with brushed on acrylic paint
and then stamped with bubble wrap
I tried the cutout shape of the butterfly over different painted papers I had
just painted today. Most of the papers were just one color and not very interesting for a
butterfly.
But one large piece had different colors on it because I had been cleaning out
brushes on it. Voila!!
It was just right. I glued it on and added the BALANCE word
and the gold glue circle A-L-L-L
on top of painted corrugated cardboard.
Happy Butterfly Day!

Painted Crows

The cutout crow that I used to stamp
or stencil paint around (Yes, the foot tore off after too many stampings)

The stencil shape---I painted around it
on a piece of newspaper that had been
used to brush out paint from a loaded brush

Two sides of the cutout---
on the left the stamp of the cutout bird--
on the right the shape painted around the
paper cutout
