Earth walker
Earth walker
Cast from the model of a friend. We wrapped her
In cellophane tape and carefully cut it off.
It became the mold to cast paper mâché upon.
Then hot melt glue lace was layered on.
Layering onward.
Shredded paper and open space make the armor
for this girl.

Honeycomb
Circle shapes from twisted sheets of newspaper. Small rolls or primed and glued newspaper fill in the negative spaces. Everything is primed in white.
Draw threads, string or metallic yarn across the open circles. A honeycomb to create wall texture.

Cast paper pulp
Shredded paper pulp cast as the frame. Using a personal pizza box for the mold. I used caulking silicone to cast the gold figure. Loving all the texture!
